NL Imbalance Market Reports: Dual Pricing
This page shows various statistics for dual priced imbalance quarters (ISP) for the Dutch electricity system, as published by TenneT TSO.
Below graphs are for quarters with regulation state 2 (dual pricing). For single pricing statistics go here.
For more explanation about the passive imbalance market in the Netherlands please read this page on the TenneT website
In ISP's that were deemed regulation state 2, everyone has to pay for their imbalance, but the price differs for infeed and outfeed. This thus creates a price spread within the ISP and is a risk for traders acting on passive imbalance.
This page shows both the occurence of such dual pricings as well as price statistics.
